What affects your price
We are upfront about what drives cost. Here are the factors we assess during scoping.
Number of users
More users means more training, more configuration, and more licences.
Complexity of operations
Multi site, multi currency, and regulated industries require more detailed configuration.
Data migration scope
How much history you need to bring across and how many source systems are involved.
Integration requirements
Connecting Business Central to your existing tools, warehouses, or third party platforms.
Customisation needs
Standard Business Central covers most requirements. Custom workflows or reports add scope.
Training scope
The number of roles, locations, and depth of training your team needs to be confident.

Pricing questions, answered
How much does Dynamics 365 Business Central cost in Australia?
Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation in Australia typically costs between AUD $25,000 and AUD $250,000 depending on user count, complexity, and industry. At Equerra, a typical mid-market Business Central implementation starts from AUD $80,000 as a fixed price. That includes discovery, configuration, data migration, training, go live support, and unlimited post go live support. Microsoft user licences are separate and start at AUD $119.70 per user per month for Essentials.
How long does a Business Central implementation take in Australia?
Most Australian Business Central implementations go live within three to six months. Simple single-site deployments can be live in eight to ten weeks. Mid-sized operations with integrations, data migration from legacy systems, and industry-specific extensions typically take four to six months. Complex multi-site projects run six to nine months. We phase the rollout to avoid peak season disruption.
What is included in the implementation price?
Our fixed price covers everything from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to configuration, data migration, user training, go live support, and unlimited ongoing support after go live. There are no hidden costs or surprise invoices.
Do you charge for support after go live?
No. Unlimited support is included with every implementation. We do not charge per ticket, per hour, or per incident. When you need help, you contact us and we help. It is that simple.
What if the project scope changes?
If requirements change during the project, we discuss the impact openly and agree on any adjustments before proceeding. If the change is within the original scope, there is no additional cost. If it is genuinely new scope, we provide a fixed price for the additional work before starting it.
How do you handle additional requirements after go live?
We treat post go live requests in two categories. If it is support or something that should have been in scope, it is covered by unlimited support. If it is a new feature or enhancement, we scope it and provide a separate fixed price quote.
Can I start with a smaller scope and expand later?
Absolutely. Many of our clients start with a core Business Central implementation and add modules or integrations over time. We design every solution to be extensible so you can grow at your own pace without rearchitecting what is already working.
What are the ongoing Microsoft licensing costs?
Microsoft licensing is separate from our implementation fees. Business Central Essentials starts at approximately AUD $119.70 per user per month and Premium at AUD $164.60 per user per month at the current Microsoft published AU pricing. We help you choose the right licensing tier and can manage your licences on your behalf.
